So quick blog as I’m about to head down finish present wrapping, play with boy, watch Christmas movies….
For anyone trying to get in touch with us, TOUGH! Just kidding. You’ll have to email though as the phones aren’t working. If I had to guess, I’d say the rain in the house shorted the phone lines. The phone works at the box. So who knows how long we’ll be phoneless. No skin off my back since I hate the phone…..still tough time of year to be phoneless though. Trying to coordinate times/things/food/etc without phone is a little tricky. Hopefully we don’t have lack of electricity. We’re without heat momentarily — just checked our oil tank and it’s on empty. Never ran out of oil before. Bummer. We may have to take down our tree so we can fire up the woodstove. Warm day today though, so maybe we’ll just tough it out if they’ll bring oil tomorrow. Cross your fingers!
Fun for the holidays: snowball fight I think it’s much more fun when it’s your own family, though, so go make your own. Oliver nearly peed himself laughing so hard.

Oliver and I did some painting this morning. Beginnings to my January 8th Have you Felt it?! class. I need me some texture in my scrap projects. So how about some paint, canvas, pictures, and needle felting for a small little wall hanging. Will post pics and price when I get it together. Me. Always the last minute. Last Minute Me. That’s what you can call me. Or Katie Procrastinator Hugh. I don’t really procrastinate — things just get pushed off to the last minute because I’m always doing the previous last minute thing at its last minute and I can’t do the next last minute thing until the previous last minute thing is done. get all that? Okay, I’m off to Grinch, wrap, and empty the rain trays. Siiiiiinnnnngggging in the rain….
