Big Meet of the Season!

Andy has his big wrestling meet of the season tomorrow night.  So looking forward to it.  In most wrestling meets I think I lose a couple years of my life being all tensed up trying to “help out” — yelpin’ and screaming to encourage the wrestlers and boy oh boy, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t just scrunch up every muscle in their body when someone’s close to getting a pin, or in the worse scenario, trying to hang on to NOT get pinned until time runs out.  You end up going home with big knots in your shoulders.  ANYWAY…the big meet is tomorrow.  Not regionals, states, or nationals or anything fancy like that.  NORTH vs. SOUTH.  The big showdown.  Nashua split school districts right after my oldest graduated — Jeremy was the last class of “Nashua High School.”  Now, North vs. South is this tumultuous competition where everyone is screaming themselves hoarse.  horse?  hmmm, not such a good speller/grammergirl am I.  So anyway, need my rest tonight in order to participate thoroughly in the raucousness in the stands.  Everyone who reads tomorrow, would be most appreciative if you would cross your fingers for Andy.  Also, I’m hoping to hear news about the Congressional nominations for the service academies, so keep the fingers crossed for that as well!  Oh, I forgot to post other good news about Andy — got accepted into Norwich and VMI!  Of course, he’s still going to the Academy assuming all goes well, but it’s nice to have a backup!  And Jeremy is doing well too — Second interview for med school!  HOOOOAH!  Merry Christmas to us!
