“Sharks don’t have bums. They just have tails.” How much I just do not know about the world. Glad I have someone to help me through it.
It snowed a BOATLOAD in the East yesterday afternoon and into the night. We got about 10 inches at our house, not sure what the rest of the world got. Seemingly we live in the snow belt. Just recently found that the snow we got in November was rain everywhere else only 15 minutes away. Anyway, worked out great because my mum got “stranded” at our house. Read “Mum, you hate driving in the snow, the roads are not cleared and I’m not letting you drive home.” So had a fabulous time. Sweet Peter had a *5.5* hour commute home last night. Poor thing. So Oliver, Mimi, and I had a picnic dinner in our living room and watched Christmas shows. Was fabulous.
The whole family was in bed by 8 so I spent the night trying to work on pictures from a photoshoot yesterday. I’m going to have to reshoot! YIKES. Newborn baby, which with all the snow implies flash photography. Not my strong suit. Of course walked in the door to have flash problems immediately. Then of course focus issues. If one photoshoot would go well, that would be fabulous. Anyway, they live close so hopefully we can do it soon so that the baby is still newborn when we take photos.
We’re off to meet some good friends today to check out the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. We can’t wait to see our friends. Have a Happy Holiday Chipmunk kind of day!
