Amazing day

What day is not great that’s full of smiles….and good pictures to boot!  Seriously, I am able to enjoy my child without the camera.  I am!  I promise.  And we did some sledding without pictures being taken.  But how can you NOT want to capture the fun and sparkle in those little eyes?!

That was not a posed photo, actually — he was dancing up, down and around the drive ready to play in the snow.  Because, you know, snow this year is a novelty in NH.  UGH!  I have to say, today it was actually fun though.  We got the drive and roof all cleaned up this morning, took a break to the grocery store, and then went sledding, so it was strictly play this afternoon.  That makes a HUGE difference.

Love the next picture.  Little stinker thought it was great that he was going to run me down on his sled.

I know I should have told him NOT to lick the icicle that was hanging from our porch…but I got my camera instead.  I cannot even think about the dirt and yuck the water ran through before forming this lovely, tasty treat…I just loved the look on his face.

So I really should have started this entry by thanking everyone who made it out in the HORRIBLE weather Tuesday night to attend my “What’s Your Policy” Class.  Class was great fun, a couple newbies, and then a LONG drive home.  Took me an hour and forty five minutes.  Seems that they are no longer plowing in NH at night since most towns have run out of money to plow, sand, salt, whatever else they do to make the roads driveable.  Keep in mind that I have the jeep and we roll in ANYTHING, so the long commute home was a bad commute.  I hope that everyone else made it home safely and thank you for venturing out in the yuck to my class.  Good times.

I am working on a secret project for a fabulous family member.  She actually might read this (therefore it is NOT my mum…) so I best not be talking about it before she receives.  Anyway, I actually KILLED snapfish tonight with all my pictures.  Thinking said secret project is on hold.  When things start crashing, I start running.  And, seriously, why ruin my lovely smiley day with a cranky computer?  Enjoy the rest of your weekends!
