WHO GOT TO GO RIDING?!?!

Oh for Pete’s sake!  He’s *5*!  no, he did not go riding.

Sure did love my helmet though.

My super-friend Paul let me use one of his bikes for the day and took me on all these amazing roads in NH.  Haven’t ridden since I sold my bike 8 years ago (and think I have pined for it every day since then.)  NOW I *am* pining something fierce and am coming up with EVERY good argument I can to talk Peter into a new-to-me bike sometime SOON.  THINK OF THE GAS MILEAGE I’LL GET!

I had a crazy nice sports bike before (that seemingly this blog program doesn’t want to link an image of…so try here at the link directly: http://www.dbmaxwell.com/Triumph%20Daytona%201.JPG).  Thought I might be interested in a cruiser or at least a more upright bike this go around.  I’m not so sure after yesterday.  Loved the ride, but the Honda Shadow that I rode yesterday sure didn’t do anything good for my arthritis-y hips.  I’m kind of crippled today.  BUT I AM NOT COMPLAINING BECAUSE IT WAS SO GREAT!!!  And I’d go again on that bike, or any other anyone’s willing to lend me in a MINUTE.  So I guess I may have to rent a couple bikes and try them out?

OOP!  Peter just caught me google-ing bike pictures.  He thinks I’m searching for a bike.  Well, if I’m already “in trouble” for it, I might as well check out bikes as soon as I finish this post.  I’d like another Triumph — really LOVED that bike.  If anyone has any good Triumph experiences, feel free to weigh in on what may be my new bike sometime in the future….20 years or so.

Lot’s to still do today.  All we’ve gotten accomplished so far is:
1.  Play some legos
2.  Cruddy Cereal for breakfast (I do so like nice breakfasts on weekends.)
3.  post office
4.  dump
5.  Grocery store (YEAH! remembered pancake mix!) and put away (the freezer was a challenge this week!)
6.  Bake 3 dozen cookies
7.  water plants
8.  stir up worms to see how they are doing.  ROCK ON WORMERY!
9.  Practice some letters and numbers
10.  Eat lunch
11.  Take a rest…except…
12.  I skipped the rest to get on the computer, pay two bills, blog, and find out what the information night is next Wednesday for Andy’s Annapolis thing.  Peter and I were at odds as to whether or not there was dinner.  I stand corrected.  It does not say anything about dinner.  But I was confused because it was 5:30-8:30.  Sounds like dinner, doesn’t it?!?
13.  Okay, wake up time for my boy rest-ers.  Time to figure out how to make the most of this RAINY afternoon.  Holy DELUGE going on outside.  And there is so much left to do today — slow morning!  Go-go-go!

Before I forget AGAIN (or maybe I already posted.  I forget…)
Photo-transfer class will take place next Thursday at the Paper Tree.  Please call to sign up for class.  If you do not have access to a laser printer or copy machine for your pictures you wish to transfer, please email them to me no-later than Tuesday.  I will print them and bring them to class.  I have things going on Tuesday, Weds, and work Thursday so I won’t be able to print if you send them to me too late.  Inkjet printers will not work for THESE methods of phototransfer.  Again, laser printer *OR* copy machine  on CRAP PAPER.  No photopaper or lovely lovely nice heavy paper.  Plain ol’ copy paper.

More info/pictures here and here.

Have a rockin’ weekend!

Oh, and if you have time, check out You Suck at Photoshop.  Cause I do.  And it’s hysterical.
