I feel like I’m floating on air….fast as rockets…

Rocket Dogs, that is.  Okay, I’m a total dork.  But, dork or not, shoes are a big issue to me.  I buy *1* comfortable pair of shoes and they last me until they get holes.  I’m such a traitor to my gender, aren’t I???  For a quick peek of my last pair of shoes, complete with holes, see picture below.  These shoes have been in dire need of replacement for 6 months at least.  Holes in the tops.  Holes in the sides.  Holes in the bottoms (really quite awful since it’s been raining about EVERY DAY in New Hampshire.)  Anyway, I have actually been to the store and purchased another pair of shoes to last me for the next couple years.  Only they weren’t comfortable.  And that just does not do for EVERYDAY wear.  My friend Wendy seems to be good luck for me when we shop.  I find things that fit (difficult when you’re 6′2″ and a girl.)  So the other night I begged her to please bring her good luck go get shoes with me.  And what did we find?!?!?!  The motherlode of luck.  The SAME SHOES that I have been smitten with for the past two years.  Uh, so happy!

They’re not quite as comfortable as the old pair yet, but hey, it takes a bit to infuse two years worth of love into a stiff new pair of shoes.  So I’ll stick with it.  And hopefully they won’t glow so much either.  Thanks Wendy!!!

So then the other night Cameron did this silly yearbook photo thing.  So I had to do it too.  I LOVE these glasses.  If anyone knows where I can find some….

Course my face is turned the wrong way, but I’m SURE they’d look better if my face was in there good and proper.

I had to laugh mightily at these two because one looks just like my mum’s nursing school photo and one looks just like my high school graduation photo (sadly).  I now need to find those two photos over at my mum’s house so I can scan them and post them next time I blog.  Enjoy the laugh!

Alright, I’m off to pick up the boy — he had a rough time this morning at school for some unknown reason.  Really didn’t want me to leave and started crying when I had to ditch him with his speech teacher and run out the door.  Not really a good way to start my day.  And then when I tried to purchase this GORGEOUS kit

– see HERE and HERE for purchase – paypal was acting up.   It’s been a little bit of a rough day.  But hopefully it gets better from here!  GO!
