Happy Halloween!

Quick post.  Costume:

If you have not seen Star Wars, please go here.  Oliver was upset at school when someone thought he was a teddy bear.  He was Wicket W. Warrick from Star Wars and people who have seen the movie thought his costume was good — otherwise, they thought he was a teddy.  Maybe he should have gone with one of the less cute ewoks — some of those little buggers were ugly.

GREAT DAY!  Halloween party at school (This was the project I did with the kids — Oliver named her Wednesday Witch and her pet spider Sprinkles.  But now maybe I’m thinking it was Sparkles…shoot, I can’t remember.)

The part of the class photo I can post — I loved how they were interacting while patiently waiting for all the other kids to line up.

We headed back to the storm troopers house for lunch — green pancakes with eyeballs and candy corn — YUM!  Then the mom’s carved pumpkins and the kids ran around and squealed like total nut jobs. Nikki carved 3 (big bat, turtle, and orca) to my one (the little bat guy in the lower front right with a little friend and a belfry in case you couldn’t tell).  Her turtle pumpkin was AMAZING — I wish I could take credit for that one.  I’ll have to post a daylight photo of it later.

Dinner (YUM! Thanks Wendy!) and Trick or Treating with Chelsea, Jackson, Josh, and Ella, and three other boys we met last Halloween.  Not the best picture of the kids, but I loved how they held hands or baskets the whole time.  So even though “the kissing game” didn’t work out for Chelsea (SNORT!  seriously, where does she get this stuff?!?wendy), they still had a good night!

Life doesn’t get much better.  Thanks to everyone who helped make Oliver’s favorite holiday just as special as ever!  Hope you guys all had equally Happy Halloween’s!  Sweet dreams!
