I have been having a rough time of it lately. Whine whine, play the violins. It’s okay, I’m done now. Because I spoke to an awesome friend tonight who just cheered me so. Thank you Sweet Cameron! She was just what I needed tonight! A reminder that I have some really amazing friends who will cheer me any time I need it. For my blog readers, please check back in tomorrow (or the next day?) when I will post a link to some GOOD stuff from that very talented girl — BUT I GET FIRST DIBS! heh.)
I had a couple things to post.
One was this picture from the archives. If I were doing Favorite Photo Fridays (which I keep thinking about!), this would be my post for tomorrow. Saw a picture of Pilot in this hat (in pink, in the snow) over on Kal’s blog and reminded me of Oliver when he was little. Just HAD to find it. It still cheers me. Especially when snow season is right around the corner. Look how happy he is to be crawling around in the snow. Certainly I could just be happy to be WALKING around in the snow!
Two was that I am DONE editing photos until Saturday and I am mighty excited about it. Have been spending all of my free time trying to catch up. I have a few more “HURRY UP AND GET THE PHOTOS SO THEY’RE HERE IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS” shoots, and then it is the winter season which is sadly slow. And I love winter pics so very much…. Perhaps I’ll run a winter special.
Three. I have a craft fair to attend this weekend at St. George’s Cathedral in Manchester, NH. Please come visit me if you are in the area. It is the first year they are having the craft fair there and it sounds like it’s going to be a pretty great event. They will have food, drinks, entertainment (Some bell ringers, and an a capella group.) PLUS! there will be a whole bunch of artists there, and you can purchase some homemade Christmas gifts this year! I will have some photos and a boatload of handmade scrapbooks for someone to lovingly finish. But there will be other types of crafts there as well.
Alright. I must hit the hay. Some 7 weeks later and I’m still coughing up a lung. But only at night, so clearly nothing’s wrong with me?
Tomorrow I get to go work play work play in the library. I’m ever so excited! I just love the feeling of being in the library. I love shelving the books and peeking at other books I haven’t seen. I love helping children find something that sparks their interest. I love browsing the illustrations. I love the peace and quietness of it all. I love the time to relax and really enjoy something. Uh, what’s not to love about a library? Sweet dreams!
