Were you singing? No? Then you must not be from the east coast. My friend and I decided to take full advantage of voting day and lack of school to a) vote and then b) head to Boston for an adventure with our five year olds. We had an AMAZING day and the weather was just wonderful. My camera is still broken so the pictures left A LOT to be desired, but at least I have the moment, if not blurry and pixelated (BOO!) Some of the pictures are okay, but the camera definitely needs some help. Turns out I have to not only BRING it in, but SEND it in. So I’m giving it up for WAAAAAYYYYYY too long. Looking Frantically searching for a rental or something to take care of my clients that are coming up.
Anyway…
Found this very cool thing growing out of the sidewalk. I definitely don’t have cool enough plants at my house. I need some of these and some of the chinese lanterns.
this would be hiding and then chasing the birds ACK! right into me. And he’s rather excited for the Duck Boat tour — see the brochure he toted all over Boston?
On the duckboat. We did not get to sit together. The kids were up in the front by themselves and they were so well behaved. I still can’t believe how good they were. We all really enjoyed the tour — Howie (our “vacation planner” was a riot.) And he let the kids drive the craft. cool.
one of my favorite pictures from the day.
We went into this amazing church — I loved when we walked in — Oliver looked up and “Whhh-ooooowwwww!” in a little whisper-y gasp.

Another fabulous tour guide in the church (so good to the kids). She took us into the original part of the church.

Blurry picture at dinner. Yes, I do know how to use the timer function AND FOCUS my camera. My camera just doesn’t want to behave. But I love all of us together after a long but super-fun day! (And both boys are so hungry they have to eat their arms?)
Sweet dreams.
