Busy Day

Crazy day today….but oh so good.

*Get up – actually not too bleary-eyed today — SHOCKER.
*Shower, dress, etc
*Pay bills
*Get class projects collected together to bring to school
*Check Email
*Arrange for picture drop off to client
*awaken boy
*prod jammie-boy to get dressed….SEVERAL times…SEVERAL MORE TIMES….and three more for good measure.  Finally must pick clothes (which irritates him to no end encourages him to get dressed in DIFFERENT outfit that he’s chosen.)
*Make breakfast
*eat and make picture frame at the same time so that teacher may see sample of my idea for kindergarten class
*gather child, belongings, crafts, and head out to jeep
*rush back to house to pick up camera.  Thank heavens head is attached.  Would forget frequently if not
*Drop boy off at speech
*RUN to kindergarten class to finish gluing mustaches on paintbrushes.  Hmmm, interesting, eh?  Sorry, can’t share.  gifts for fam.
*explain frame idea to thrilled kindergarten teacher.  HOORAY! Agree to make frames for morning AND afternoon classes.
*Children show up — get to play, hear them practice for their school sing-a-long and make THREE projects with them (2 are mine).  Took pictures of all children for frame project.  Get invited back to take pictures of afternoon class as well.  YEAH!  Kindergarten two times in one day!  (I love LOVE kindergarten.)
*Rush home, grab lunch, reschedule picture drop off, grab mounted pictures, and head back to afternoon kindergarten class.
*cut 64 hands out for reindeer antlers, cut out 32 pointsettias, cut out 14 skates and 28 cuffs, take pictures off all children and all the while listen to afternoon practice for school sing-a-long
*Drop by Nina’s…..and here we are:

Oliver had a really great time playing with this little boy to which a lot of the moms said “He’s ready to be a big brother.”  tough nuts for him I guess….  heh.  I was so pleased that he was able to hang while I spoke with mom’s and waited for Nina to be done with her MANY admirer’s (what’s not to admire?!?) to show her some prints I’d done for her place.  I am so thankful that she is hanging some of my prints there, especially when her daughter’s photography is so amazing!  (Thankfully that talent of a daughter does not prefer people pictures.)  Anyway, snapped a couple photos while there.  Met some amazing new mom’s.  And was able to hang some pictueres on her walls.  What an exciting afternoon.  THANK YOU NINA!

The remainder of the day was not so rush rush.  Regular dinner and bedtime routine and now I’m ready to hit the to-do list hard.  Hopefully I can finish up addressing my Christmas cards tonight — I’ve not been pleased with my drawings going on the envelopes AND I keep waiting to stick the cards in packages that I have going to the very same people.  Since I’m not doing a very bang up job of packing those suckers I’m thinking I just need to do the Christmas letters, mail them, THEN worry about packages.  So everyone receiving a package from me….expect it in January sometime.  heh.

Sweet dreams!
